International Heroes III League - Legends of Heroes

Welcome,

We are the oldest active Heroes III league in the world. We wrote to You because we would like You to join our initiative of building the best Heroes III league. What distinguishes us from all the other leagues is the greatest experience, professional attitude and cash prizes for the best players. During our tournaments like Legends of Heroes,  League Cup or Professionals League we have accumulated a prize pool of 1500PLN (circa 375EUR). On October 1st, Polish League transformed into International League, and we count on Your help with creating it. We offer the following competitions:

"Because every master had to take the first step"
Amateur League is a simple ladder competition, in which the position is determined according to ranking points, calculated by a special formula (everyone starts with a ranking of 1000):

[(x-y)/500 + 2]^2 + (x-y +1000) * 0,008

where x stands for the losers ranking points, and y for the winners'. while every loss accounts 1 point to the player.

This mode is a great opportunity for the new players to establish their own brand, as well as a good training for die-hard gamers before some serious competition (e.g. Professional League or Legends of Heroes II Tournament). Each month, two new maps will be chosen, and winning on them will account the player an additional 25 percent points. Moreover, with the end of the season, play-off phase will take place, where the best players will test their skills, and the winner will receive a premium account for the next season.

"One for all, all for one"
Team Play is a competition for four-player teams, with every member having to play with a town other than his companions. To make the competition more interesting, two maps will be chosen each month for the games to be played on. Points gained are summed up on the team's account. The best team's members will be rewarded with premium accounts for the next season.

"History remembers the winners only"
For demanding players we prepared the most prestigious Professional mode. It's a competition for premium users only (cost of a premium account is 6EUR). For the price we offer a ten-month competition with up to 40 games to play (plus additional games for the best players of each round). At the end of the season three players with the most points accumulated will play a round-robin mini-tournament, and according to its results the prize pool of 1000PLN (circa 250EUR) will be divided.

The Professional League was created in a way enabling only one game with each player. An exception to this principle are bonus and final fights, which are additionally rewarded and may create an opportunity to take revenge on the other player. Contractual maps for Professional League games are Random Balance, Balance PC, Jebus and 2sm4d(3), while the difficulty levels are 130% and 160%. The winner of the League will be announced the official LoH League Master, and his name will last on the cards of history forever.

Famous players like

  * The Gladiator BG;
  * Tiamath;

have already announced they will participate in the Professional League. They have chosen already - now we are waiting for you to join the best!

"Because convenience is fundamental"
In addition to playing and reporting games, the web page also offers a possibility of finding an opponent for an unranked game. The dueling grounds is the place for this kind of matches. I would like to point out that the LoH League was the first one to introduce this system. The web page offers a large download section, shout box, forum and player gallery. Every player will have his or her own profile, in which detailed information about his or her games, titles won or other players' opinions may be found.

Welcome and thanks for your interest on our community, masterangello. It's wonderful to know there's still some people like you who are making efforts to arrange professional Heroes Tournaments! I'm pretty sure that there are some good Heroes III players around here, but only a few ones (if any) will answer to you in english. So, first of all let us some time to translate all this info to spanish, our language, please. Till next time!

Hereby I would like to invite everyone to the first league tournament organized by LH in the new scene. This time we want to offer you something completely different from what was previously. All games will take place at Template Random Jebus Cross. In the group stage of the size L, in the final stage in size XL. Por la presente, querría invitar a todos a que os unais al primer torneo organizado por LH en la nueva  escena. Esta vez queremos ofreceros algo completamente distinto de lo que que hicimos previamente. Tdoos los juegos tendran lugar con la Plantilla Aleatoria de Jebus Cross. En la fase de grupos los mapas seran de la talla L, en la fase final de talla XL. Por favor, apresuraos en registraros porque el numero de plazas está limitado a 32, y la fecha límite para registraros es el 28-12-2009. El ganador recibira una cuenta Premium para la siguiente temporada como recompensa. Esperamos que os gusten los cambios ¡y os deseamos suerte en la lucha!

La traduccion seria mas o menos asi. A falta de ese hereby(npi de que significa) y de lo de "Plantilla Aleatoria Jebus Cross" (cualquier tradución que sea mejor es bien recibida).

Como puedes ver en el arreglo q te he hecho, lo de Hereby significa "Por la presente", y lo del Template imagino que se refiere a alguna Plantilla para el Generador de Mapas Aleatorios que habrá creado un tal Jebus Cross, o quizá se refiera a algún mapa en el q se haya utilizado.

Ya sabes Storm, no nos hagas quedar mal, e inscríbete, a ti q tanto t gusta el Heroes III  :bloodlust: A dejar el pabellón bien alto!  :8O:

PD:El pabellon ya le deje bn alto en HC cuando te derrote 2-1 en duelos en el mapa del ToH. ¿A que sí? :tongue:

Hombre, sólo era una sugerencia, visto el apego que le tienes al Heroes III. Tb podrías dejar un poco de lado los Duelos y participar en este  :jester2:

No, lo del pabellón se dice cdo alguien va fuera, q tiene q dejar en buen lugar a los d su tierra. Y sí, me ganaste la ronda, pero hay que recordar que te negaste a reiniciar la 2ª vez cuando el Mentor me tangó, sabiendo que en el primer intento (cuando te salió el bug ese de los elfos) yo llevaba un build decente  :tongue:
